Career Services provides Career & Transfer Specialists, who can work on technical documents with students and help them plan for transferring in the future (or reverse transfers), and Career Counselors who can work with students who are having more emotional struggles related to their career paths.

With many community partners, like Austin Community College, we stand committed to providing individuals the opportunity and support they need to earn a degree and get started in a promising career.

Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support model that uses peer-assisted study sessions. The SI program targets traditionally difficult academic courses and provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class review sessions. SI study sessions, led by student leaders who previously passed the course, are informal seminars in which classmates compare notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and predict test items.
Foundation Communities
Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit. We provide affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We offer an innovative, proven model that empowers our residents and neighbors to achieve educational success, financial stability, and healthier lifestyles.
Veteran Resource Center
The center offers the college’s military and veteran students a central, one-stop location for obtaining essential support services such as VA certification and advising for VA benefits. The 4,000-square-foot center also features a lounge area where students can connect with peers and participate in veteran-specific activities.
College Skills Workshop
ACC workshops cover topics for academic, career, and personal effectiveness.
ACC Support Center
ACC’s Support Center provides specialized assistance and referrals to a select group of students who would benefit from additional assistance to overcome challenges and complete their education.
